Refund Policy

Last updated: 17 June 2026

This Refund Policy explains how billing and refunds work for gramatic credits. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

You pay only for successful generations

gramatic is pay-as-you-go. When you submit a generation, the credit cost is held against your balance and charged only if the generation succeeds. If a generation fails or is canceled, the hold is automatically released and no credits are spent. Because of this, you are not billed for work that did not produce a result.

Credit top-ups

Credits are purchased in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. Purchased credits do not expire. As digital credits are made available to you immediately, top-ups are generally non-refundable once credits have been used.

When we provide refunds

  • Unused credits. If you have a remaining balance of unused purchased credits, you may request a refund of that unused portion. We may decline requests that appear abusive.
  • Billing errors. If you were charged in error or charged twice, contact us and we will correct it.
  • Service faults. If credits were incorrectly deducted due to a fault on our side that the automatic hold-and-release did not resolve, we will restore or refund the affected credits.

What is not refundable

Credits already spent on successful generations are not refundable, since the service was delivered. Dissatisfaction with the aesthetic result of a successful generation is not, by itself, grounds for a refund, though we welcome your feedback.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under consumer-protection or other applicable law.
