What are credits?
Credits are gramatic's unit of usage. Each model costs a fixed number of credits per image — shown before you generate. You top up credits and spend them as you go, with no subscription.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits you've purchased stay on your balance until you use them.
What happens if a generation fails?
Nothing is charged. Credits are held when you submit and only deducted when a generation succeeds. If it fails or is canceled, the hold is released back to your balance automatically.
Which models can I use?
A curated lineup covering fast drafts, photoreal, anime and illustration, logo-and-text, and vector SVG output, plus tools like upscaling, background removal, face restoration, full-photo restoration, colorizing, Ghibli-style transfer and instruction-based editing. They all draw on the same balance — see the pricing page for the current list and costs.
Can I use the images commercially?
Images you generate are yours to use, including commercially, subject to our Terms and Content Policy and the upstream model providers' terms. You're responsible for ensuring your prompts and usage comply with applicable law.
How do refunds work?
Because you're only charged for successful generations, most billing issues never arise. For unused credit top-ups, see our Refund Policy.
Is there an API?
Yes. Create an API key under Settings and call the REST API at /api/v1 to generate images, check your balance, and manage webhook subscriptions. See the API reference.
Can I save and reuse prompts?
Yes. Save any prompt as a template — with {{token}} placeholders for the parts that change, like {{brand}} — and reuse it in the studio or over the API. gramatic also ships built-in starter templates you can duplicate and tweak.
Can I generate many variations at once?
Yes, through the API. A batch request fans one template across many sets of values — for example the same logo prompt for twenty brand names — creating one image per variant. See the API reference.
Can I edit my images in Canva?
Yes. Connect your Canva account in Settings, then send any generated image into Canva as an editable design. When you're done, Canva's "Return to gramatic" button brings the edited design straight back into your gallery — no downloading or re-uploading.
Can I generate images from Telegram?
Yes. Connect Telegram in Settings, then message the bot with /gen <prompt> in a private chat or a group. Images come straight back in the chat and are billed to your gramatic credits, just like the web app. You can also send a photo with /gen to edit or upscale it.
How is my data handled?
Prompts and generated images are stored to power your gallery and usage history, and prompts are sent to the relevant model provider to produce your image. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
